(Update) Police Arrest Ocean View Man Wanted on Warrants

Detectives with Hawai‘i Police Department’s Area II Criminal Investigation Section located and arrested 40-year-old Robert “Tamatoa” Teinauri-Carman in the vicinity of Highway 11 in Pāhala around 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The Ocean View resident was arrested in relation to his two outstanding warrants, one regarding an indictment and one regarding revocation of release of bail. He was also wanted for questioning in a 2022 burglary in the Hawai‘i Ocean View Estates subdivision in the Ka‘ū district.

Late yesterday afternoon police issued a media release that Teinauri-Carman was wanted on the two warrants and considered armed and dangerous. The Hawai‘i Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
