Police Seek Public’s Assistance In Identifying Suspect in Pāhoa Theft

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man who is a person of interest in a theft that took place at a residence in Pāhoa in October.

On October 23, 2024, an unidentified man was observed on video surveillance walking around a private residence on Limu Street in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision. It was later discovered that an item was observed missing from the area where this man was observed. This same man is a person of interest in a burglary investigation that occurred about a month earlier at the same residence.

The man is described as possibly being in his 30s, with a thin build, tan complexion, and dark colored hair. He was last seen wearing a camouflage pattern hooded jacket.
