Police Request Assistance Identifying Man

The Hawai‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for questioning relative to an on-going investigation that occurred on March 4, 2025, at a beach in the Puna district.

The image displayed was captured from a cell phone video taken by the victim and depicts the unidentified man walking along a roadway in Puna.

The victim described the individual as a Caucasian male with a tan complexion and thin build, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, 140 -160 pounds, with short brown hair and a short brown beard.
