Police Renew Request for the Public’s Assistance in Locating Two Female Runaways

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating two juvenile runaways.

  • 17-year-old Mary Costner, was last seen on foot near Maku‘u Drive and 8th Avenue in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision in Kea‘au, on Monday, May 20, 2024, (Report #24-046584). She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 170 pounds, with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. Costner is believed to frequent the Pāhoa and Waikoloa areas.
  • 17-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo, was last seen on the 70 block of Aupuni Street in Hilo, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:45 a.m. (Report #24-089396). She is described as Hawaiian with a tan complexion and a thin build, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Ahulau-Kaleo is known to frequent the Hilo area.
