Police Renew Request For Public’s Assistance In Locating Missing And Endangered Hilo Man
Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Tyler Reikofski-Ekle, of Hilo, who was reported missing. Reikofski-Ekle was last seen in the area of the 15-mile marker on Highway 137, Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Road in Pahoa, on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
He is considered endangered as he is in need of medication for a medical condition.
Reikofski-Ekle is described as Caucasian, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 185 pounds, with long blonde hair and brown eyes. Anyone who may have information on Reikofski-Ekle’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective Christopher Jelsma of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2386, or via email at christopher.jelsma@hawaiicounty.gov.
