Police have 48 hours with which to charge an individual after arrest. The data provided in these reports covers individuals who have been arrested and charged with a crime within a 48-hour period and may be subject to change. Individuals may appear more than once in a given 48-hour period due to time of arrest and when they were actually charged.

All parties are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. To confirm if someone is still in custody in East Hawai‘i, please call Hilo cellblock at (808) 961-8100 or in West Hawai‘i, call Kona cellblock at (808) 326-4646, ext. 293.
