Hāpuna Beach State Park Delayed Opening on Wednesday Due to Police Investigation

Hawai‘i Island police advise the public that Hāpuna Beach State Park will open one hour later than usual on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, to conduct an investigation. The state park is expected to open at 8 a.m., instead of the regular 7 a.m.

Vehicles and beachgoers are asked to not enter the park 6 a.m. until the police investigation is complete.
