First Annual HI-PAL Keiki Fun Run / Walk in Kona

It’s the first-ever Keiki Fun Run/Walk in Kona! Join Hawai‘i Police Department’s Kona Community Policing Section and the Hawai‘i Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL) to start the new year off in this fun, healthy event.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center gazebo with the Run/Walk taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the bike path along Ane Keohokalole Highway.

Keiki can compete in three age groups and events, including:

  • Ages 5-8: 200-yard dash course (family are welcome to accompany their child)
  • Ages 9-12: half-mile course
  • Ages 13-17: one-mile course

Refreshments and snacks will be provided after the races with each participant receiving a medal.
