Request a Patch

The Hawaiʻi Police Department does not sell police shoulder patches or challenge coins, but its affiliate, the Hawaiʻi Police Relief Association, does offer shoulder patches for sale to collectors for $5 each. Challenge coins cost $15.

To purchase a patch and/or challenge coin, you must be affiliated with a law enforcement agency. You must provide a photo copy of your I.D. and a copy of your identification with the law enforcement agency, such as a business card.

You may purchase a maximum of one patch and one challenge coin. The Hawaiʻi Police Department does not permit its badges or cap shields to be bought, sold, or traded.

To order a patch and/or challenge coin, please mail a money order made payable to “Hawaiʻi Police Relief Association” for $5 (for a patch) or $15 (for a challenge coin) to:
