Police Seek Missing Pāhoa Man Lipomala‘e Kahai-Burgess

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Lipomala’e Kahai-Burgess of Pāhoa, who was reported missing on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Kahai-Burgess was last seen in the area of Hibiscus Drive in Pāhoa on Wednesday, March 26, about 6:30 p.m.

Kahai-Burgess is described as Hawaiian with a light brown complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short, straight brown hair and blue eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
