Police Launch Terroristic Threatening Investigation After Female Juvenile Threatens  Fellow Student

Hawai‘i Island police initiated a terroristic threatening investigation on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, after it was alleged that a juvenile female made verbal threats of violence involving a firearm directed at another juvenile female at the Kona Pacific Charter School in Kealakekua. Furthermore, the suspect allegedly stated that the threatened act would take place at school.

Due to the juvenile status of the involved parties their names are not being released and the teen was not arrested. Detectives with the Area II Juvenile Aid Section are continuing the investigation.
