Hilo and Kona Residents May Experience Temporary Spectrum Voice 911 Outage On March 6
The Hawai‘i Police Department is making the public aware that Spectrum will be conducting scheduled maintenance, which may affect Spectrum Voice 911 service on Thursday, March 6, 2025, between 12:00 a.m. midnight and 12:00 p.m. The affected areas will be Hilo and Kona. During this time, please follow these important steps in case of an emergency:
- Try calling 911 first using Spectrum Voice 911.
- Try calling 911 using an alternate landline or cell phone.
- If you are still unable to get through, please proceed to the nearest police station or fire station (listed below) for assistance.
