Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 67-year-old Joseph Frances Madeiros, who was reported as an endangered missing person.

Madeiros was last seen leaving his residence on Makaala Road in Volcano, on Thursday, January 25, 2024, but not reported as missing until Tuesday, January 30. He was last seen operating a Blue Ford Ranger pick-up truck bearing Hawaii State license plate ZKS-623.

Madeiros has a light complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 200 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about Madeirosʻ whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311.
