Media Release

Hawai’i Island police report that 34-year-old Justina Alves of Ocean View who had been previously wanted for an outstanding warrant for her arrest and questioning regarding several criminal investigations was located in the District of Ka’u on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at 12:55 p.m. Alves was located after she contacted police wanting to turn herself in. Alves was later released from custody after posting bail.

The investigations that Alves were alleged to be involved in will be forwarded to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for their review.
