Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Shaicen Lewis-Benevides who was reported as a runaway.

Lewis-Benevides was last seen on Railroad Avenue Road in Hilo on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 7:45 p.m. and was last wearing a white shirt, black shorts and a camouflage back pack.

He is described as local with a slim-build, light-completion about 5-feet 7-inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone with information on Lewis-Benevides’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
