Friends of First Responders Fundraiser for Injured Officer

As of Sunday, March 16, 2025, the manhunt for Christopher Lucrisia continues. Lucrisia is wanted in connection with the attempted murder of an officer in Hilo on Friday, March 14. Read our media release on the timeline of events that took place Friday, March 14, here: https://www.hawaiipolice.gov/police-manhunt-for-two-men-in-officer-involved-shooting/

Hawai‘i Police Department has received many requests from community members on how to support the injured officer. Our trusted, long-time partners Friends of First Responders have created a fundraiser for the officer’s ohana to assist with short-term expenses not covered by worker’s compensation. Here’s the link to the fundraiser: https://www.ffrhawaii.org/officerfundraiser.
